District Nurses - Casual

Buller, Greymouth and Hokitika

Vacancies exist in Buller, Greymouth and Hokitika for Registered Nurses to be part of the District Nursing team based at local Health Centres.

These positions provide a range of community home-based nursing services including wound care, continence care, palliative care and IV therapy.

They will also provide professional support to Home-Based Support Services' Personal Care Givers.

These are casual positions to be utilised when a particular area has a shortage of District Nurses, especially when covering sickness and annual leave. The successful applicants will participate in a 7-day roster including weekend work.

The service is provided from 8am – 4.30pm.

Applicants should have post-graduate experience, recent experience in one or more community nursing fields and be able to practice autonomously.
