Please contact A full-time permanent position is currently available for a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to work with our two other O and G specialists at Grey Base Hospital. As a Specialist Obstetrician-Gynaecologist, you will work in partnership with your colleagues. You will work together in making decisions, and will operate within the O and G service in a way that best suits you and the community. You will be supported by a team consisting of a registrar, lead maternity midwives, a resident medical officer and experienced nursing and allied health professionals.
The Grey Base Hospital Obstetric, Surgical and Theatre areas are very well equipped and modern. Although professionally somewhat isolated, there are very close links with the major South Island tertiary hospital in Christchurch only 3 hours away by car.
