Buller Community

A position is currently available for a Registered Occupational Therapist to provide Community Occupational Therapy services to the Buller Region. This position is available as a full-time position or as a part time/job share position.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Occupational Therapist to provide and co-ordinate effective clinical service. This position provides an excellent opportunity for you to broaden your skills in a diverse and interesting rural community.

You will be required to work as a member of the Occupational Therapy Department and as a part of a multi-disciplinary community team. You will be expected to:

• have the skills of a senior therapist to provide effective occupational therapy assessment and treatment,
• maintain effective communication,
• contribute to the delivery of a quality Occupational Therapy Service to the clients of the West Coast.

Appropriate applicants will be New Zealand Registered Occupational Therapists with a current practicing certificate and past experience working within community and rehabilitation settings.  A current driver's license is also essential to the role.
