Applicants are invited to apply for the above position who are either appropriately registered General Practitioners or experienced practitioners with general registration.
This role is sole practitioner with additional support from other hospital based Specialist Consultants and resident Medical Staff. The hours of work are between 0800 – 2200hrs on an 8 hour rotational roster, 4 days on duty 4 days off duty.
Grey Hospital is the base hospital for the West Coast of NZ offering a range of Specialist and Acute services including general, gynaecological and orthopedic surgery. The ED is also supported by modern radiology and laboratory facilities.
The successful applicant will be committed to ensuring the provision of an efficient, effective, high quality clinical emergency care service for the community of the West Coast District Health Board.
