Flu Trends
Google has launched a free website, Flu Trends, which amongst other things shows how widespread the flu is in the North and South islands each day... This website application which is paid for by Google's philanthropic arm, Google.org, calculates flu trends by tracking search queries from the public that have been shown to correlate with the actual incidence of flu.
New Zealand was the fourth country set up to receive this service.
