The West Coast District Health Board is pleased to announce the date of the first Community Health Forum in Greymouth. The forum is to be held at Karoro Learning Centre on Wednesday 24 September from 7.30pm.
"The forum, which will include a presentation on the joint West Coast District Health Board and Ministry of Health Sustainability Project, will offer an excellent opportunity for the public to learn more about future healthcare on the West Coast," said Wayne Turp, General Manager of Planning and Funding.
A significant goal of the forum is to promote constructive dialogue between the people of Greymouth and the West Coast District Health Board.
The Greymouth forum is the fourth community forum set up on the West Coast, building upon successful community meetings in Karamea, Hari Hari and Reefton.
A Community Health Forum is also planned to be set up in both Hokitika and Westport in the near future.
