The West Coast District Health Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim O'Keefe as Human Resources Manager.
Kim started out her career as a Registered General and Obstetric Nurse and then later completed her University studies in Psychology before focusing on HR Management. She has worked in a number of organisations in both the public and private sectors, most of which have had an aspect of healthcare in them.
Bringing to the role a varied generalist background, she has particular strengths in recruitment, employment relations and organisational development.
The West Coast is familiar to Kim. She emigrated from England with her family to live in Greymouth and completed her high schooling here before moving to Wellington to commence her nursing studies. Rediscovering the beaches and natural outdoors is something that she is really looking forward to.
Kim O'Keefe will take up the position on the 17th November.
