The West Coast District Health Board wishes to advise that due to arranged locum staff now being unavailable, there will be no on-site, acute orthopaedic services available until 8 am on Friday 13 February.
Acute orthopaedic requirements will be met by Emergency Department medical staff in consultation with orthopaedic specialists from off the Coast.
Full orthopaedic services will resume on Friday 13 February. The West Coast District Health Board wishes to apologise to any patients who may be inconvenienced by this unforeseen situation.
